radio adverts

This week and last week we have learning about radio adverts/advertising slogans.

We could choose our advert for a TV advert and radio advert and we got to record a radio advert with a jingle a slogan a product name (which could be any thing in the classroom).

We got to make posters of a shoe from google images.

On Wednesday we went to the fire station we went, with Mrs Humphrey. First we sat down and watched a film then ,answered some questions then we went to the smoke place then we went to the hazard that had loads of hazards kitchen and saw all the hazards and and, then we went to the car crashes then we went to school, and went home.

Angel of the north vs islamic printing

For homework we had to write about the Angel of the north. Other classes made models with lids & bottles. we Drew a design on polystyrene and done a print.

This week we have been learning about Tales told in tents. From central asia.The secret of felt, the girl who cried lake. The carpet of dreams is a story of a boy who wants to travel the silk roads.

Face Painting

In 4h we were learning about the Tribal people of the Rainforest .We painted our faces with face paint to represent the Kyapo tribe .

We used lots of different colors .We had a great time.

The Frog Prince Continued

In class 4h we have been learning about a book called the frog Prince continued.

First we looked at a picture from the book and written about what the frog prince was doing and his feelings.

Then we done a diary of the frog prince and his encounters.

On the coach we went through London. We saw the London Eye and we also saw Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.

First we went to the materials gallery. We went across the glass bridge and it was really high up. We went to see the big material spiraled statue and we also saw the material dress. We went to launchpad and saw and did interesting things like stretching bubbles, shadow magic, symmetry, dyeing colours, there was also an echo tunnel which was fun.

We also went to a gift shop following by a show called FLASH,BANG,WALLOP!!! IT WAS ALL ABOUT BURNING THINGS AND EXPLOSIONS!!!. And then it was time to go home!!!.We went all the way through London.

It was fun!
